Jack and Jill – Saturday Evening
This has been a highlight since the first PLEX. Participants enter individually and will be partnered up randomly, initially we may change partners a few times. Couples will be tapped out by our official judges until there are just a few finalists left. Judging critera will be on fun, entertainment and dance ability. Finalists will dance-off to the music of the Stone Frigate Big Band. Judging of the dance off will be by audience applause. First place will receive a cash prize.
Couples Contest – Saturday Evening
This is for the couples that really want to strut their eXtensive skills. You choose a partner, the DJ chooses the music. First place will receive a cash prize. Judging critera will be on fun, entertainment and dance ability, just bring it! The winner will be chosen by audience applause.
Fun Contests – Sunday Afternoon
Sunday afternoon after 2 nights of sleep deprivation and a yummy brunch we get a bit silly. We're bringing back, the Jill & Jill and Jack & Jack contests. You don't have to pre-register, just show up and have fun. Anything goes. We'll come up with a sufficiently silly prize for this silly contest.
The Blues – Sunday Evening
As the end of PLEX approaches, we all have the blues. Dance the blues away in the final contest of the weekend on Sunday evening. The winner will be chosen by audience applause.
